The Canadian Tenors: Destined For Superstardom
Today, I strolled over to the Live Tour Artists website, in an effort to see what my former vocal student, Patricia O’Callaghan, was planning for her 2007-2008 performance season. She is very busy and I will comment more on this later on in another post. However, similar to discovering gold by accident, I happened upon a vocally superb and creative group of young singers, The Canadian Tenors. They are nothing short of astounding and a timely and stellar gift to our music industry.Collectively, they bring a wonderful and memorable diversity of style and substance to their performances. And, it appears that David Foster is an important part of their introductory process to the music world. And once the Foz man is on board, the stars certainly do align.Plans are in the works for a world class CD to be released just in time for Christmas 2007. Now, that CD better be in my stocking come Christmas morning! In the meantime, in an effort to whet your artistic appetite, have a listen to their amazing performance of Because We Believe by David Foster, showcased at the opening of the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto in June 2007.

Hi everyone!
Well, tonight’s the night. Brian and Jaydee are set to give performances that will define the solidarity of their respective careers in rock and country. I am actually quite thrilled that both these singers have made it to the Finale. They have worked extremely hard to achieve the very best each and every week, drawing from their individual strengths to raise their personal bar higher and higher.
So, while you wait, I encourage you to read this great article by Toronto Star journalist, Vinay Menon. He is an excellent writer - both humorous and insightful at the same time. Enjoy.
