How does one effectively trade a tracker invite ?
With so many banning the invited account as well as the invitee these days, you cannot be too careful with your invites.
You may think " well, 1 down, 50 to go, It's all good" but eventually it does go to pot.
Recently a lot of trackers have began sharring IP information in order to prevent random invites. the point of a torrent site is 3 fold.
1.Offer a service under the facade of " free speech/Free data/All data should be free"
2. Generate capitol. All sites ask for donations, there is not that much server use sucked down to warrant 1-2k in monthly fees. It is a business.
3. Kill the leecher.

The leecher will never donate.
The leecher could care less if his ratio is over 1.00. His goal is to get what he wants, apologize,sell a sad story and try to get more prior to the ban, then move on to the next tracker.

I do not begrudge these sites from accepting "Donations". I wish most were more open about it. Asking for a fee is illegal world-wide,thats why it is called donations. Killing the leech is a good idea as well as a benifical idea.

Killing the leech and his parent is a sad fact of things now and more to come.
What can you do ? You have X and you want an invite to X or X.
Person A offers X, then rips you off and now your going to end up facing a ban as he leeches and steals bandwidth with no intent on returning it.

If a person is offering you an invite to X then sed person should have no problem putting up a current screen shot.
It is slightly more safer than trusting peoples word these days on the web.

No one should pay for an invite. For gods sake, find the IRC channel and request the right to PM a mod.

Hello . I am a member of several other trackers who , while offering current releases, do not offer them in the form that I preffer as well as not in a timely manner as of late. Your site, I hear nothing but good of. While not kowing any members and spending more time at work has left me in a position to be unable to frequent the IRC in a fashion that would allow me to get to know and potentially request an invite from a user.

I can offer pictures of my previous trackers/ ratio to show that i am a seeder and not a leecher as well as i am able to help the site grow thru donations. If you know of any other option available to me to obtain an invite, please let me know so i may begin to work on that and get out of your hair

You have spoken clearly, friendly and to the point. You do not sound like a begging idiot and you have implied your willingness to help the site through donations.
Do not pay for a tracker invite, put the money where it should go if you are willing to do so, the site.

Now, some measure of proof.

You will go to your tracker URL. Ensure you have some proof as to the date and take a screen shot of your screen with PRTSCRN button.

Open MS paint, click edit,click paste, and there is your image.
Click,cut everything but what is needed. your browser bar will have the domain name,so no need to make sure you have the pretty logos and such. Just your ratio proof, invite options and something to prove the date/time frame.

Trim it down. Click on image, click on properties and scale it down to remove all of the white and such and show only what you need to show

Use a converter to change it from BMP to JPG

Host it on an image service like file shack. Then throw it up here utilizing the [img] then the URL here, then [/img]
