I'm submitting a set this evening and I'm in the uploads area. When I click on "Preview" the window that pops up is all messed up. Just thought I'd let someone know!

Yeah, it could have with the optimizing to do... Have you tried to refresh with ctrl+F5? I have had to do that on a couple of pages..

Edit: Hmm.. I just tried it myself in submisions and the deep refresh didn�t work.. I have notified them, but it�s after 1.30am here so it wont be fixed until tomorrow..

I just noticed that this same thing is happening when browsing items - if I click on an item that's listed under "recommended items", the window that pops up is displaying incorrectly.

All of a sudden (and it seems someone's already said this, but it's worth repeating and I have a screenshot to illustrate), the previews are screwed up. If I preview a whole set, the first pic of the series is screwed; if I only edit one, that one will be screwed. See the pic.

Second, all of a sudden I'm seeing truncated titles for the submissions. This is REALLY irritating! We supposedly have a 50-character limit but I've got several sets and individual items published that all of a sudden have the titles chopped off with ... at the end -- usually the part that describes the individual colors. See the second pic. This is very recent, all these titles were full and uncut before. Even the older ones have now been changed and there is no reason for this.

Can Per please be exhorted to fix this so that we can tell how our previews are going to look when published, and especially can he fix the truncated titles problem?

Gina.. the site was optimized last week and you need to refresh the page.. It�s fixed but as you probably haven�t been in submissions, it�s stuck for you.. try to deep refresh ctrl + F5 as this has been fixed on Saturday..

Oh, I forgot to mention that to Per.. he has to correct it so it�s 50 characters again.. will do that tomorrow..

Tried deep refresh, tried it four or five times. No change.

Thanks for making Per fix the titles. Use a whip if necessary.

Probably you guys aren't as agitated over U.S. politics as we are. Actually, I'm not normally all that political, but I really like Hillary and I always have, and besides I've just been watching the entire "The West Wing" (all seven seasons) on DVD. I really want Bartlet for president, to be honest, and if I can't get him I'll take Matt Santos.

Which probably mystifies the rest of the world, who've either never watched the series because it's about American government, or it's never been available on their TVs.

Umh... Yes let's return to the submission system stuff! ^___^ My new problem for exemple! Well i tried to submit a new lot today, and strangely, the system rejected it saying that there was no file uploaded.- the pictures were accepted-. I uploaded it in rar, then in zip,then directly in sims2package form, checked out the file in my game, redone it again and again, but it's still like there was no file uploaded. Can someone please help me, i'd be very grateful! thanks!

Cassandre, what�s the name of the file? Have you tried uploading it to the filestorage? And then picked it up from there? It seems to be easier sometimes from there.. and you should just upload it as a sims2packfile, no need to zip it or rar it..

I know I've had that problem before, Cassandre. Make sure there's no punctuation marks in the title of the lot. I remember having the hardest time with a lot because I had an apostrophe in the title.

Umh... I didn't used the file storage... Usually i zip the file and upload it... I think... I upload so few lots that i don't exactly remember ^__^
I'll try with the file storage and see ^___^
The file name is "miamiestatebycassandre" ( without the " of course) so i don't think i used a forbidden caracter...

Anyway, thank you Anita and thank you Tdyannd too, i'm going to try it and return to tell you if it worked!
