Katara can always get more magic water from the spirit oasis. Although it is tempting, I don't think I want to look at that sneak peak of ep 50, it would just ruin the experience of seeing the whole episode when it actually comes out... You, know like spoiling the surprise.
I don't think Aang and Katara would actually get together, it's all in his head... Katara's too mature for Aang.
i think iroh will escape and then teach aang fire bending and then i think aang will defeat the fire lord(with his pants on lol).

oooh, headed for the western air temple, I bet they find some air benders there.... They can't really be all wiped out, that's just what they want you to think... It wouldn't be right if the Avatar series ended with the Avatar cycle messed up and no air benders.

I'm glad he failed, that means more episodes! I hope Zuko finds his mom then he won't be completely abandoned, sure he's got his uncle, but his mom would make it better.... Wasn't Aang super fast in book 1? He should have been able to at least keep up with Azula in that fight.

Actually I think 4 books are coming. You know the four Elements. And maybe the other guy is Haru? Btw, that mustache and beard is so ugly. I don't think Zuko will find his mom and that Iroh is going to teach Aang fire bending.

so far the elements in the intro how they are performed in order of the books they use air last so its possible that air might be the last book. if fire is not.
I know, we all would like the Avatar sereis to continue for a few more seasons, but book 3( Fire ) is the last book. Aang is an air bender so he's pretty much already mastered air bending. Water, Earth and Fire are the only elements he needed to master. I'm pretty sure they'll defeat the fire lord in this season. I'm pretty sure Zuko will teach Aang until his uncle finds them, he's the only one who can and since he's joining them he'll be the only firebender in the group.
It wouldd be nice to have another season though... They could do one on what happened after the Fire Lords defeat. I'm pretty sure there is more work for the Avatar afterwards. The earth, water, and air nations will still have alot of animosity towards the fire nation from 100 years of tyrany; and Zuko would have his hands full as the new Fire Lord trying to rebuild an era of peace as he puts it in ep51. There's plenty of stuff left for Avatar.
I don't think zuko will learn him fire bending.. Zuko isn't that patient, so he's not the best for that job.. However his oncle, he also learn zuko a lot, so I think he'll do it.

Hey, what if after the fire lords downfall, azula escapes and rounds up some other evil doers and the Die Li follow her to take down Zuko and Aang ... She is a crafty one.
All good things must come to an end. I just hope they dont extend it and strch the story out and just so they can make more money off it usualy thats what kills a series by adding fillers or going out side the original story.

But what if they make it as though there is a story inside the story that was overlooked and that created the next couple chapters, IDK....Im just thinking outside the box. How in the heck do people keep thinking there is going to be a book 4 Air?!! Aang is already and air bender duhhhh!!! He's mastered Air already. Yeah and I do think Iroh will teach Aang and Zuko will become a more powerful fire bender now that he has let go of his emotional past and is at ease with his new destiny to help the Avatar. His emotional energy or chi can flow more freely now and he'll finally be a good match for Azula in a fight, maybe even better now.
I do believe they will find a group of air benders who survived at the western air temple. They've been to the southern, eastern, and northern temples and found no trace of them, but it makes sence to me that they would find them at the last temple and in the last season. Though the title may indicate that he is the last air bender; I think that it was the writers intention to mislead the audience and make Aang think he was the last air bender throughout both seasons until the last season of the show. Given that, it gives the title credibility and they can end the story with a twist and surprise for everyone. That's how stories go somtimes, end the final season with a bang.
the creators already stated that book 3 is the last in the series, but they have other projects in the work for the universe

As the story shows, Zuko will join them, that makes their group the 4 elements: Aang-air, Katara-water, Toph-earth, and Zuko-fire. At the final battle, all four of them would battle the fire lord since Aang will not be able to master his Avatar state because of his emotions for Katara.
In the 1st book, there was a firebending teacher named Jongjong (if the spelling is correct..) who taught Aang the principle of fire bending. I think that he is a great master for Aang and should reappear at the preceding episodes. And also when will episode 52 be uploaded? thanks

not to be pushy or a nag but when is the next couple of episodes goin to air??? I'm on pins and needles! I'm also over 20 lol I think the fan base for Avatar is huge with a plethora of age ranges, And although they have already said book 3 will be the last, I hope they re-consider it. Avatar is one of those shows that can go in so many directions.

I'm 100% certain that there will be a fourth book. But then again I could be wrong. Epsiode 51 was so powerful. Ang finally showed his true feelings to Katara, and Zyo (yes my spelling sucks) finally stood up to his father FOR REAL, expressing his true feelings inside. In all truth there has been times in my life that I trually wanted to say that to my father. Powerful, just powerful. And another thing...I love this website. It isn't all over when the fire lord is. What, like Azula and the rest of the fire nation is just going to roll over and die when the Fire lord is defeated? If you guys haven't noticed, Azula is probably more of a threat to the world than the Fire lord himself, in terms of cunning, drive, and ruthlessness. And she's beastly strong. And even though he's gone to each of the nations in each book, he still hasn't MASTERED the elements. He hardly used anything except air when he fought Azula, and he can't even use water/earth bending as well as Katara and Toph can. He still has a long way to go before he can be the Avatar. I can't see the series finishing in just 8 more episodes.

Good point to the anonymous poster above. There are so many possibilities after Book 3. Maybe if you research on Wikipedia or Nick.com you'd be able to contact the creators of the series. I have to say I enjoyed this series. It has a great story, humour, romance, life values, and beatiful animation. Its just great. Yesterday they played the episode where Ang freaks out because there are only two days left until the invasion. So many funny moments:
