Oh man, I love this series! Hearing the English voices after watching it in Japanese is weird, but is translated very well. The jokes are easier to get in this one, too. Not targeted at mainstream Japanese.
omg I used to watch this show a long time ago, I'm watching it again and as lame as it sound the first episode made me CRY, I couldn't stand the look on his mothers face, it was so sad!
I watched this show years ago when it was on TV. It was pretty much amazing, and I can't believe that I forgot about it until now. I have rediscovered awesomeness.
it's interesting that the little boy who made yusuke become special and let the series begin is never named. At least in English. In the manga i think the mom calls him Masaru
