Posting Problems.

I tried posting and noticed that there was some sort of problem with my putting a link in my post unless I had 35. I figured that it wasn't accepting my rapidshare link so I tried adding pics from imagevenue. Still no dice. I have not tried it, but do I have to code my link or do I need to say "thanks/nice pics" and walk my post count up until I can post links?

with this forum...you need to build up your post count before you can contribute anything.
the minimum post count to start contributing is 35...
i suggest you start saying thanks or offer some form of feedback when you browse through the forum.

Spam. If we didn't have that rule, this place would be crawling with spam bots trying to post garbage links to viruses, trojans, and crap. This way, people have to stick around a while to contribute.

Furthermore, you have to wait 90 seconds between each post. You don't meet too many people who come to a board just to spam that are willing to sit here for an hour just to post a link.

It's things like this that we unfortunately have to do to help keep this forum a great place.

A time limit has had to be installed so that other members cant spam the site aswell.

I do understand the problems with spam, but honestly, having to post 30 thank you's (or whatever) and having to wait for 300 secs in between is very tedious to say the least. So in order to get rid of spam I have to spam the forum with my "Thank you's" (while tapping my feet for 5 min in between) 30 times? Okay then....life can be so boring sometimes. Rules can kill the pleasure of being alive, right?
