Pardon the crass commercialism. We have just announced Myka. A Bit Torrent enabled set top box. Just started advertising in isoHunt.
Happy to answer any questions.

I currently have two external hard drives containing the majority of my movie files. Will I have to copy the files I want to watch over to the Myka hard drive or will I be able to pull them through my network? |

it seems to support network access from what I read on the webpage looks like a NAS with a player added on it. similar to a link theater I would guess though the link theaters I have seen were kind of buggy with their playback abilities. |

Seems like the only downside is not supporting 1080p, but that only affects blue-ray discs/rips. I'm pretty sure everything broadcast in HD is either 720p or 1080i with the 1080i being phased out, and to be honest you don't see many torrents at all in 1080p so not supporting that isn't a huge deal at the moment (looks like you're planning to fix that in future models already anyway).
It'll be nice to move my computer away from my TV and free it up for more gaming (I like the gaming part, the wife likes the getting it away from the TV part). |

It also has usb ports for plugging in hard disks directly. |

Would you guys be willing to create a version that comes without a hard drive, but uses a USB thumb drive to format any drive that you install? (obviously it would NOT be as supported as the usual version).
Also, can it play FLAC and/or OGG Theora?
p.s. Your Pre-order page has a typo. In the asterisked text, it says studions not studios. |
