Well, the party is over, guys and gals. The Holiday season has dwindled down to a lovely memory and the seasonally disastrous winter weather has begun. So you know what that means, don’t you? Time to “warm up” your vocal cords - literally and figuratively - in preparation for your first lesson of the New Year.

Please call me if you wish to change your present lesson time. I really am looking forward to seeing all of you once again and truly hope that you and your family had a wonderful and relaxing holiday.

It’s been a while since I posted, but I am back at it again. Today I added a link to Patricia O’Callaghan’s Promotional video on the LiveTourArtists.Com website.

Today, I strolled over to the Live Tour Artists website, in an effort to see what HSS alumnus, Patricia O’Callaghan, was planning for her 2007-2008 performance season. She is very busy and I will comment more on this later on in another post.

However, similar to discovering gold by accident, I happened upon a vocally superb and creative group of young singers, The Canadian Tenors. They are nothing short of astounding and a timely and stellar gift to our music industry.

I am seriously attempting to bring this group of singers to Timmins, as I feel they will inspire and captivate our community with their powerful vocals and sparkling personalities. Collectively, they bring a wonderful and memorable diversity of style and substance to their performances.

If you know of a service club and/or charitable organization who wish to be part of this musical presentation, do not hesitate to email me at [email protected].

In the meantime, in an effort to whet your artistic appetite, have a listen to their amazing performance of Because We Believe by David Foster, showcased at the opening of the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.

Hi singers!

By now, you know your schedule so I just wanted to remind everyone to bring a notebook, two 90 minute cassettes and your music from the previous years.

New students, of course, will be given vocal repertoire as the season progresses.

As a courtesy to the student before you, please arrive no sooner than 10 minutes before your lesson.

Also, if possible, make certain that you have properly vocalized prior to your lesson, as this will save precious time at your session with me.

Whether you have pursued a career in music is not a pre-requisite. Whatever career path you have taken will be celebrated and promoted via this site.

Yes - my studio now has a name, but it’s the same studio that each and every one of you travelled to on a weekly basis. Great memories and, most of all, great music.I have already added some pics and bios to the current and alumni pages.

Welcome all to the new site for HarmonyStreetStudio.Com. To all students -returning and new - I welcome you to an exciting season of singing, where you will continue to develop your technical and performing skills in every genre of music.

The new teaching schedule resumes the week of September 4th (September 3rd lessons cancelled due to Labour Day) and, as always there will be ten lessons in this term.

I look forward to seeing everyone. Remember to warm up those voices before your lesson, as it will save valuable time during your time with me.
